The game is already worth the price, and more content is being added regularly.. The upgrade system in this game has a fantastic amount of depth allowing for so many different types of builds. Going through a run can be fairly difficult at stages of the game based on what kind of build your going but that just makes it more fun. Certain builds after about 15 upgrades go from bad to god tier. If you are looking for an arcade shooter to casually play with a reasonable amount of challenge and plenty of replay ability, Nova Drift's your game. 5 stars.. 10\/10, better than a lot of "fully made" games. It's not nearly as simple as it looks, currently in early access with "only" ~10 weapons, bodies, shields (many of which are offensive), and ~25(?) mod trees with 4 mods each, each mod tree drastically changing how you can play. The game as it is feels already done, but there is an entire story mode, more enemies, more mod trees, and more gear planned still. Definitely worth the 15$There's also an active discord where you can chat with the maker of the game~ that's nice too. This is one of my favourite games from 2019!The graphics are amazing, it's really light on my PC and the gameplay is astonishing.Rounds depend on how good you are, but I think they average around ten to twenty minutes.. This game is really fun. :DGreat for short sessions and have great variety of ways to play the game.. This game is really cool. It might not have tons of content or a story (yet), and the controls are a little weird to get used to, but it's still worth getting just to play it, because the gameplay is really what makes up this game.The main aspect that I think makes the gameplay awesome (aside from the obvious things) is the build system. It's where the replayability comes from (at least until you start doing challenge modes). Almost any build you can run is effective, you don't need to crunch numbers or min-max (which is heavily discouraged by some soft RNG), meaning you can just choose a loadout and go for it.Leading on from that, the options in this game are the definition of meaningful upgrades. Even the number-based upgrades are big enough so that the effects of those upgrades are noticeable. No '1% increase to X' mods here!. 10\/10 Would barf bullets again. Worth every buck.I wonder no more why it's got 99% positive reviews (at my time of purchase, in any case).Extremely polished, addictive, 2d rpg space shooter, with an amazing ost, to top it off.. Looks like another shooter basically in the vein of Asteroids; but this one is really good. Gameplay is fluid, the enemies are carefully designed, and the build system has a lot of depth to it. There's quite a bit of replayability in figuring out what abilities and bonuses work together. A tough game but definitely recommended.
